It’s another Infrared panorama. And yes, I just made that word up.
Took a short break this afternoon and took a 64-shot panorama from the top of the adjacent parking deck looking towards ours.
Autostitch (again ran under WINE from the netbook) flippped out a bit initially, but by going into options and tweaking the RANSAC numbers to something like A=4, B=0.05 and the Sift values to 80% (thank you Google), and iterations to 950 (not sure if this had any effect) it produced a much nicer fit. Apparently it’s possible to tweak SIFT closer to 100% too but didn’t try it.
BTW, I like parking decks. I think they are some of the greatest photographic subjects ever that you can also park multiple levels of vehicles on.
