It’s Not Just About Llamas

Gov’t Mule 4-13-2008

Just got back from Gov’t Mule playing in front of Lincoln Theatre. Good show. And looong.

Nice show. I didn’t get a ticket for the Greyboy Allstars show at Lincoln afterwards, but their sax player joined in on a few and was outstanding.

I had a nice spot in front of vintage keyboard land where I got to watch the Clav and the Leslie spin around and stuff.

Setlist to be posted later — the covers were not half as deep as the last time I saw these guys, but the music was still great.

Kinda neat to have an show that gets done before 11 too :) Maybe I’m getting old.

Camera photos kinda suck — I like my Ricoh GR Digital because you just turn it on and you don’t have to wait for it, but it needs a zoom. Better than bringing the SLR out for 3 hours though, sure enough. Plus all concert photos look the same anyway.
